Decent animation, you could have made something a lot better with a decent sound editor like Audacity or something, but the whole premise just fell apart as it went in. The thing with the hat was just confusing. Why would he wear a hat like that? And are you hating on Indy? I can appreciate a spoof when it's made with respect, since imitation is the highest form of flattery, but that all just seemed malicious against Indy. And the trailers I've seen look nothing like that.
Author's Response:
I did use Audacity. I've seen every Indiana Jones movie, and i've to say, i really love them. I have done this because i love Indy so much. I respect Indy. The reason, why there is jokes about Jones's hat, because this is SPOOF. This is not mean to be Flash version of real trailer, this is mean to be SPOOF OF THE REAL TRAILER, as you can read from the Author comments.

I've caught flack for holding doors open, you get the quiz from some girls of how enlightened a male are you, and question one is always: do you hold the door for women? But it's like Foamy said, if you're a courteous person, you hold them open for everyone: guys and grrls and womyn. It's nice to see Foamy ranting about stuff that burns everyone, instead of more topical stuff, that you don't see everywhere.
I am glad that JIM got away from just doing rants, and got back to doing flashes with actual plots or premises. It's like with the infamous Mexico rant, that got blammed. I didn't think it was too bad, but it was over the top for foamy. His successive rant, praising Mexico, was a little bit like Michael Richards on Letterman after using the word N****r in his stand-up, but it's better to apologize than to do nothing about it. It shows that while Foamy is filled with squirrelly wrath, he's not a bigot. he criticizes hypocrisy a lot, but isn't really one himself.
I loved the point about how the baby carriages are like a personal barrier, very poignant. What better barrier between you and a mugger than your infant? They already market a baby carrier that keeps you from getting shot/stabbed in the back, and from the front, as well as a trailer for bikes that keeps you from getting rear-ended by someone with road-rage. Maybe we should take a newer, Swiftian spin on armoring our troops and start duct taping babies to APC's and flack-jackets. They're trying to protect our future, it's about time our future started protecting them! And hand to hand combat would be brutal when those little guys started teething.

Since MS Paint has a mode where you can zoom in and use a grid, why not have similar tools, like line drawers, and a palette that lets you pick the color in which you're drawing, rather than choosing color pixel by pixel which is tedious after the first two pixels.

The rules were hard to figure out at first, I had to read through the directions twice to figure out the color system, it just didn't seem that obvious. But the look is very cute and would be fun for kids and those of us who are still kids at heart. It's a great little memory game that runs smoothly, and is a real challenge with both time and the directions. It's a simple premise, but it's not the easiest to play. It's very easy to be captivated by the animations, and interesting music.
I was worried it was going to be really sappy, like the woodland critters on south park, but it wasn't that at all. It had a little bit of a japanese-children's-animation look to it, but that didn't really detract. I think this is great because there are so many games on NG that are about spaceships and violence. But this one actually challenges your brain a bit, forces you to use your memory and mind cues as quick as you can. I'd find it easier using a mouse, since I use a touchpad. But this could easily become a child's favorite game for a while.

I love the live action element at the beginning, and the return of tacowife. The allusion to that old saturday morning cartoon show was awesome, and I'm glad somebody else remembers Killer Instinct, although I liked the arcade and PC versions better. As I remember there was a similar game called Primal Instinct that had Blizzard and other characters that had their own powers. The cool thing about that era of games was that every platform had signature games, but some games like Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat, et al really crossed the lines and were good because although they were 2D, they were well detailed and had realistic animations. Albeit the details were just for fighting, but when you're making a simple game, you can put the effort into the look and the characters.
This movie had a lot of little fun details to enjoy, and the usual fun of Ebolaworld`s numerous series.

No points for animation style, but bonus points for making it a relatively original challenge to figure out. I with it had been a little more challenging, but then again, I never have quite been able to figure my way out of the Crimson Room, if memory serves, or my way into the house, and submachine would be freaking impossible past game 1, if it weren't for the walkthrough. This is an amusing little challenge that's fine for all ages but would probably play better with kids around 10+.
It's short, but the trick of figuring things out makes it worth the time, as you're thinking from beginning to end, not just clicking mindlessly or going for things that are all too obvious and handed to you as the player.

I liked the game play on this. It was easy to shoot the zombies, and solve the puzzles, but after I shoot the mishmash guy and figure out the melody, I go through the strange door and can't shoot the cleaver-wielding girl from the ring.
The animation is really nothing special, as it's basically one image moving closer to you until you either shoot it or it reaches you. The style is kind of weak and not very realistic, so there's no suspense of disbelief for the theatrical aspect of the thing. Also, the clues are practically invisible, and the only real way to know what to click on is to right-click so that your normal cursor appears, and you can then see maybe half the things to click on. It has a nice strategy element for figuring out the challenges, but not that much.
I think it would have been better if the musical clue used the letters of the actual notes, instead of do-re-mi, when the scale isn't even written correctly on the piano.
It is a great start, but I suggest you revamp this quite a bit; as the game play is mediocre and the problem I had with the strange-door room can't be unique, unless you intended it to be impossible, in which case that seems pointless.

First, put in an option to turn that repetitive music off. Second, when it says, try again, have the person just go back to the last question, not the very beginning. Third, please don't italicize all your text, as it makes it more difficult to read.

Well drawn, but really nothing new. As style goes, it looks good, but does lack things like a music option, different backgrounds, options for faces or positions, et cetera. But this is a great start for a great dress-up game. nothing about it seemed that funky, but it was amusing.

That was great. There was timing, strategy, you had to really look at everything you had to work with and try things that weren't obvious. This is comparable to the Mr Snoozleberg series, Steppenwolf, Arcane, or other problem-solving ones. It is cute, has a fun story. I'd say that the rating is right, since there is mild violence. It's tasteful, and would appeal to fans of Ice Age, the Flintstones, or other shows with stories about prehistoric life. There's some slapstick humor and the game play is smooth without hiccups or glitches. Nicely done! The only way I'd want it improved, is with some a sequel or additional challenges.
